Where law meets community
My work sits at the intersection of law and community: legal advocacy gives people a way to claim their rights, while grassroots social work builds the trust and awareness needed to exercise them.
Years of rural and school social work have shown that lasting change starts with listening to a community's own understanding of its needs, rather than imposing solutions from outside.
Whether representing a client in a legal matter or a community through Rotary service, the goal is the same — steady, long-term commitment over quick, symbolic gestures.
